There is no "I" in "TEAMWORK"

Film Making Time!

Film making but with a unique twist whereby all teams work together to create a finished product.

Each team represents part of the news team and the newscast goes out at 20.15 PROMPT!

The teams will each be given a feature prop and a department to represent. They will need to create a story around that prop to cover in a 30-60 second piece to camera for the newscast.

For example we can have one team covering the intergalactic Olympic Games with space hoppers and a Darth Vader costume on Mars, another in Moscow with a Straight Jacket or at the Arctic Circle with a penguin suit! We can also have teams for weather, business, city gossip, health etc, etc!

Teams will be required to create the dialogue as well as build and decorate their own “set” to reflect their story. There is a well stocked set workshop with backdrops and a great range of equipment to create their own bespoke set if they wish. Additionally we will supply a vast selection of generic props for them to use.

An anchorman will tie this all together as he/she takes them back and forward to the various correspondents around the world..…and Milky Way!

Having done all this we then edit it all together and you have your evening entertainment.

The Bear that Wasn't is a 1946 children's book by film director and Looney Tunes alumnus Frank Tashlin. In 1967, Chuck Jones, a gre
at cartoonist, directed an animated short film based upon the book for Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. Incidentally, The Bear That Wasn't was the final animated short subject made by MGM. It marked the end of an era (more than thirty years) of MGM cartoon shorts.

Eventhoguh it was thought for children, this story raises deep matters for any society, this story set out a current and valid moral:

¿Are we what ohters think about us? or ¿Are we what we really are?

1. Please send your comments.¿what's the moral of this story?
2. Do a research on Frank Tashlin and write down a paper about it.
